ArchWeave 2.0.0 is a privacy-first, client-side Architecture as Code studio for structured JSON/YAML models and interactive system diagrams. The established single-view editor remains the default; an opt-in saved-view preview adds explicit multi-view migration and architecture review workflows. Release-candidate nomination is approved, but G5 qualification and production cutover remain on hold.
ArchWeave combines a structured architecture model with an interactive diagram. Model system hierarchies, interfaces, relationships and trust boundaries, then validate and export the underlying JSON or YAML. Diagram layout, filters and visibility do not change the canonical model.
Privacy-first modelling
Your architecture stays in your browser.
Import, edit, validate and export models locally in the browser without a mandatory account or hosted project database. Optional browser autosave is off by default and stores unencrypted data when enabled, so exported files remain important for backup and recovery.
Established editor
The default workspace remains the v1 single-view editor.
The current repository documents these browser-based capabilities. This is not an independent acceptance test of the deployed application.
Structured model workflow
Import and edit JSON or YAML, apply structural and semantic validation, and keep invalid source drafts from replacing the last accepted canonical model.
Connected architecture diagrams
Model systems, elements, interfaces and relationships with direction and compatibility feedback, then refine hierarchy, boundaries, labels and layout.
Local export and recovery
Download editable JSON/YAML models and export SVG or PNG diagram views. Optional browser autosave is off by default and is not a substitute for exported backups.
Latest repository progress
v2.0.0 release-candidate nomination approved; qualification is not complete.
The current main branch records the 20 October 2026 documentation and candidate-posture update. The v2 preview is opt-in and must not be mistaken for functionality already qualified for production.
What the v2 preview adds
Saved views can explicitly migrate a validated document to multi-view 0.3.0, then use stable view IDs, scoped projections, interface placement, source review, undo/redo, the canonical explorer and direct semantic review.
Release posture
G2 is approved for release-candidate nomination. G5 remains pending/not qualified, including human accessibility and controlled performance evidence. G6 production cutover remains on hold.
There is no production-release approval, WCAG 2.2 AA certification or target-domain cutover authorization recorded in the current repository decision.

The development URL is published for evaluation, but its current availability and features have not been independently reverified in this portfolio update. The intended archweave.mchughcyber.com.au production-domain cutover is not authorised, and the v2 release candidate remains unqualified.
